Spain +90 Day D-Type Visas

For employment work with a fixed-term contract

NOTE

The entity registered in Spain has to contact the corresponding Delegación del Gobierno office and request the appropriate work authorization in favour of the applicant that they employ or whose services they hire through another company in the UK.

Supporting documents:

  • Authorisation of residence and employment for a determined duration.
  • Employment contract, in relation to which the authorisation of residence and employment has been granted, the employment contract must bear a stamp of the Immigration Office.

  • Document signed by worker agreeing to return to home country at end of contract.
  • Medical certificate. This will need to be signed by a medical professional.

NOTE

You must apply for your own Certificate of Criminal Record

(4 or 12 days to process) certificate can not be older than 3 months at the time of application.

  • We can complete your national visa form and book your appointment at the Spanish Consulate.
  • There are Consulates in London, Manchester and Edinburgh.  
  • Appointments at the consulates are Tuesdays and Fridays only.
  • You are required to pay the visa fee and have your biometrics taken at your appointment.

Your appointment:

Passport

  • You’ll need a passport with at least 6 months validity left, plus 2 blank pages.

    • You’ll need a 35-40mm width photo to go with your application

      Visa Processing

      • This visa can take up to 15 days to process. You must also collect your passport in person once processed within one month.

        NOTE

        After obtaining the visa, the applicant has one month from the date of entry into Spain, to process the TIE (Spanish: Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero) at the Immigration Office or Police Station.
