Spain Type-C Visas

For employment work with a fixed-term contract

NOTE

The Type C visa is for applicants who are required to perform or work in Spain for no more than 5 consecutive days or 20 performance days (rehearsals do not count in this) within a period of 6 months.

Supporting documents:

  • Letter of invitation from the company in Spain written in Spanish in which it states clearly: business relation that justifies your trip, purpose of the trip and duration of your stay in Spain.
  • Proof of sufficient financial guarantees: up to date original bank statements for the last 3 months, certified by bank, which clearly state periodic income (salary transfer, yield, etc.).
  • This Consular Section will not accept bank statements from on-line banking.
  • Proof of sufficient financial availability for the period of stay requested: £84 per day of stay, with a minimum of £760 per person regardless of the intended duration of the stay.
  • Confirmation of accommodation and return/onward travel.
  • Management Letter (OHV can provide a template for this).
  • Overseas insurance policy, stating the name of the applicant and day interval. It must cover all risks expected during the time of stay inside the Schengen area, offering a minimum coverage of 30.000 €, including repatriation.

Your appointment:

  • We can complete your Type C visa form and book your appointment at BLS International.
  • There are Visa Centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh.  
  • Your biometrics will need to be taken at your appointment.
  • You are required to pay the visa fee, BLS service charge and Royal Mail Special Delivery costs for the return of your passport at your appointment by debit card.

Passport

  • You’ll need a passport with at least 6 months validity left, plus 2 blank pages. Also, you will need to submit a photocopy of your passport ID page, plus any previous Schengen visas with your application.  

    Photo

    • You’ll need a 35-40mm width photo to go with your application, taken in the last 3 months against a white background.  

      Visa Processing

      • This visa can take up to 15 days to process.

        NOTE

        International Passport Holders: UK residence permit valid for a minimum of 30 days from the date of expiration of the visa. Photocopy of both sides of the residence card.
